Time in nature has always been my medicine.
My fascination with yoga started in early childhood. But it wasn't until the age of 19, after many wild and adventurous teenage years, that I was able to truly dive in. Not one for doing things in small doses, I spent the next few years living in yoga ashrams across Australia and India, healing and nurturing my world weary body, mind and spirit. It is through this unique setting that I imbibed the wisdom teachings of yoga, not just as a way of life, but as a spiritual path. These ancient teachings have carried me through some incredibly challenging life experiences and events. Yet they continue to fill up my cup to overflowing to this day!
Over more recent years I have immersed myself into the healing arts path of Prana Vinyasa yoga, as cultivated by the amazing Shiva Rea. The seamless integration of yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, flow, breath and connection to nature that Prana Vinyasa offers has empowered me to actively combine all that I love into all that I now offer out into the world.
I have also been blessed to add to my repertoire Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consulting (Ayurveda is the world's oldest health system and yoga's sister science) and Wayapa Wuurrk, an Australian made Earth Body Mind Spirit Wellness practice, that draws on indigenous cultural wisdom to help us lead a balanced life, that is in harmony with nature.
My four beautiful yogis (children) are the culmination of my first 10 years of embodying yoga, and are by far my greatest teachers!
