Time in nature has always been my medicine.
My fascination with yoga started in early childhood. But it wasn't until the age of 19 that I was able to truly dive in. Not one for doing things in small doses, I spent my initial years of yogic training living in ashrams across Australia and India, healing and nurturing my body and mind and feeding my curious and hungry soul. It is through this unique setting that I was able to imbibe the wisdom teachings of yoga, not just as a physical practice, but as a spiritual path and way of life. These ancient teachings have carried me through some incredibly challenging times and life experiences and continue to fill up my cup (to overflowing) to this day!
Over recent years I have been exploring a more embodied approach via the healing arts of Prana Vinyasa yoga, as cultivated by the amazing Shiva Rea. The seamless integration of yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, flow, breath and connection to nature that Prana Vinyasa offers has empowered me to actively combine all that I love into all that I now offer out into the world.
A Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consulting and more recently a Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioners Diploma (Wayapa is an Australian Indigenous Earth Body Mind Spirit Wellness practice) have been natural additions and progressions along this path of holistic health and wellbeing that I am devoted too.
To this day however it is still my four beautiful children who are by far my greatest teachers!
